We will welcome Rachel Chesser of Provence Marketing to speak to our group on October 27th. Rachel will talk about how to use social media effectively in your business. Rachel has been a marketing and PR professional in Charleston for almost 15 years. After serving as at the PR & Events Coordinator at the Charleston Museum, Rachel decided to become a freelancer in order to spend more time with her young children. Her clients range from non-profit organizations and human services agencies to a local publisher; she also serves as the PR Coordinator for
the Charleston Men’s Chorus. From blogs and tweets to Pinterest boards and Facebook posts, Rachel believes that social media and email marketing are essential and low cost ways for non-profits and small businesses to share their message and mission.
A native of Virginia, Rachel holds a Bachelor’s in sociology from Emory & Henry College and Master’s in history from George Mason University. She lives with her husband and two children in West Ashley.
