The East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club will welcome Brittany Lavelle Tulla, Executive Director of Charleston World Heritage Coalition, as our guest speaker Tuesday, April 19th. Brittany is the proprietor and principal architectural historian for the Charleston-based firm BVL Historic Preservation Research, Charleston’s first and only full-service firm dedicated specifically to historic research and National Register for Historic Places nominations. She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Historic Preservation and Community Planning at the College of Charleston and a board member of the Charleston Heritage Symposium. In 2014, she was one of three women featured in Historic Charleston Foundation’s “Women Who Impact Preservation” video series. In 2015, she established the Young Preservationists of Charleston and was selected as the Drayton Hall Wood Family Fellow.
