Congratulations to Rotarian Bill Martin for receiving the “Four-Way Test Person of the Year” award in the East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club. The award is given to a current and active member who exemplifies the Four-Way Test that all Rotarians aim to live by.
Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Bill has been an active Rotarian since 1984 and has had membership in eight clubs. Bill became a full member of the East Cooper Rotary Club last year after repeated visits while serving as the Senior Advisor to the Liberian Minister of Health from 2004 – 2015. Bill is held in high regard by the club membership as someone who has very high ethical standards based on his number of years of service in the health care field. He is currently a member of the Grants committee and has shown a strong willingness to work with club membership to promote Global grants within the club. Bill currently serves as an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and serves as a liaison to the South Carolina State Emergency Operation Center during disaster responses. He recently spent two weeks with the Red Cross in West Virginia in support of flood relief activities as well as in Louisiana. Bill also spends time consulting on international health projects and mentoring young executives.
