The East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club will meet Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 7:30 a.m. in The Cooper River Room at the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. We are pleased to have Chris Crolley of Coastal Expeditions, as our guest speaker. Breakfast catered by Dish and Design.
Garden & Gun calls Chris “one of the state’s most knowledgeable naturalists,” and it’s easy to know why. A devoted student of the world around him, you can almost always find him on a Bulls Island trail, exploring a newly found waterway or keenly examining a feather he’s picked up during the day. For nearly 25 years, Chris has been an integral part of Coastal Expeditions and continues its mission of environmental education and stewardship. He is the proud father of a 19-year-old son, Graham and 3-year-old daughter, Olivia.
Named one of Charleston’s 50 Most Progressive (Charlie Magazine), Chris works closely with non-profit groups like the Coastal Conservation League, Lowcountry Land Trust, Friends of Coastal South Carolina, and The Nature Conservancy to help facilitate their missions. If you’re ever on a tour with Chris, you’ll find that he’s one of the lucky ones that found his calling early in life.
