Saturday, October 20th 7:30-10am, the East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club will partner with the Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant to provide free shoes to deserving school students in the East Cooper area. The Mount Pleasant Target Store will provide the venue and children will be given the opportunity to select and receive a new pair of shoes and socks. The event is also an opportunity for the Wando High School Interact Club, College of Charleston Roteract Club, and Rotary Youth Exchange Students to participate along side Rotarians as escort and shoe shopping assistants. Our club’s 2018-2019 Rotary Youth Exchange Student, Marie, arrived last week from France! Marie will be turning 17 on August 20th and she will be attending Wando High School. At our club meeting last week, Marie gave us a flag from her Rotary club in France and received our flag. If you see her at a meeting please introduce yourself! Marie loves meeting new people and traveling to new places. She is very active, enjoys shopping, and loves to cook. In France, Marie studies economics and wants to work in international relations. Marie enjoys swimming, gymnastics, and volleyball and she is about to have the best year of her life!

Welcome Marie!
